The DOL 2400/DOL 2300 alarm system is primarily used to monitor ventilation in livestock buildings.

The alarm system collects all events, such as alarms and operating statuses, in a shared log that can be used for analysis and statistics. The alarm system can also be used to trigger alarms in the event of device faults and other alarm situations.

Without expansion, DOL 2400 can monitor the temperature in up to 20 livestock housing compartments. The alarm unit is not a fire alarm, but when connected to additional sensors, it can signal a rapid rise in temperature, which may indicate a fire in the building. This function is for information purposes only and cannot replace a professional fire alarm system.
